To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6:00 on November 28, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The six hundred and fortieth day of the large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.

The enemy continues to ignore laws and customs of war, uses tactics of terror, carries out missile and air strikes, conducts artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers not only on military but also on numerous civilian objects in our country.

During the past day, 84 combat engagements took place. In total, the enemy carried out one missile attack and eight air strikes, conducted 20 artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers against positions of our troops and populated areas. This day Russian occupiers launched an air strike on Ukraine, using a Shahed-136/131 strike drone; the enemy's drone was destroyed. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are injured among civilians. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.

Air strikes hit Stepova-Novoselivka in Kharkiv Oblast; Novomikhailivka, Kostiantynivka, Nova Ukraina in Donetsk Oblast.

More than 130 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson oblasts came under artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "North" on the Volyn and Polesie fronts, the operational situation remains unchanged.

On the Northern and Slobozhanskyi fronts the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent our troops from redeploying to threatening directions, increases mine-explosive barriers along the state border in Belgorod Oblast.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Khortytsia" on the Kupyansk front, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions around Syntsovkivka and Petro-Pavlivka in Kharkiv Oblast, where our defenders repelled three attacks.

On the Lyman front, the enemy conducted offensive operations around Stelmakhivka, Serednyanskyi Forest in Luhansk Oblast and Ternevo, Yamopolivka, Torske in Donetsk Oblast. Here Ukrainian soldiers repelled 12 attacks.

On the Bakhmut front, our defenders repelled 28 enemy attacks near Bogdanivka, Ivanivske, Klichyivka and Andriyivka in Donetsk Oblast. Ukrainian defensive forces continue offensive operations south of Bakhmut in Donetsk Oblast, inflicting losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, consolidating on gained positions.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Tavria" on the Avdiivka front, the enemy does not give up attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers firmly hold their defense, inflicting significant losses on occupiers. Unsuccessful were the offensive actions of the enemy east of Novobakhmutivka, northeast of Berdychev, Avdiivka, Opytnoye, Severnyy and south of Tonynkove in Donetsk Oblast, where our defenders repelled 23 attacks.

On the Mariupol front, aggressors under air support conducted unsuccessful offensive operations around Mariupol and Novomikhailivka in Donetsk Oblast. Here our forces repelled nine attacks.

On the Shakhtarsk front, the enemy did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, occupiers three times unsuccessfully attempted to regain lost positions near Robotino and Novoprokopivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

At the same time, Ukrainian defensive forces continue conducting offensive operations on the Melitopol front, inflicting losses on occupiers in manpower and equipment, exhausting the enemy along the entire frontline.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Odessa" on the Kherson front, our soldiers continue to hold positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River, conducting counter-battery fire, inflicting artillery strikes against enemy rear areas.

Units of rocket forces inflicted damage on a command post and three areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the enemy.
