The head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Serhiy Rebrov, commented on the victory over North Macedonia (2:0) in Euro-2024 qualification matches.

— How much did our fans' support motivate the boys?

— Support always helps, we are very grateful for it. We are also thankful to the Czech Republic and Prague for giving us the opportunity to prepare for the match and providing this stadium. Today there was a great atmosphere that helped the players, which is very important.

— Did you notice that the referee allowed more aggressive play? Did it affect the pace of the game? How did the opponents' team perform today?

— The North Macedonian national team is a strong team. In attack, they have very good players who demonstrated this. As for the referee, the match was very important for both teams. There were many collisions and battles. Probably when one of the teams scores a goal, the fighting becomes much more intense. I believe that the referee kept control over the game.

— Can we expect rotation in the Ukrainian national team in the match against Malta?

— Yes. After the match with England in September, I said that it was necessary to see how players recover. Today there was a very tough field and an important game; I believe that the footballers gave all their emotions and strength. Now they need to recover, before the Malta match we will look at their condition.

— Mykhailo Mudryk did not capitalize on many opportunities. What do you think about his prospects?

— How old is Mykhailo? Do you want him to already be like Messi? He is gradually trying to play better. You are asking me what the future holds for a player who already plays for 'Chelsea'? There is everything ahead of Mudryk, he works hard. I do not think that today Mykhailo had an unsuccessful game; he helped the team a lot. Not scoring sometimes happens. But he tries his best and creates opportunities.
