President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about the terrorist attack on Israel and the threat to our citizens who are in that country, as well as our solidarity and special understanding of what is happening at this point on the planet.

"Dear Ukrainians,

Today from early morning - in constant contact with our diplomats, with intelligence. 

Due to the terrorist attack on Israel and the threat to our citizens who are in Israel, an operational headquarters has been established at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. All services and our embassy are tracking information regarding Ukrainian citizens who may have found themselves in danger. 

As of now, information is being verified about a possible death of one Ukrainian citizen and a search for two of our citizens is underway. 

Once the details regarding these individuals are verified, Ukrainian diplomats will inform the public.

Please, dear Ukrainians, if you are currently in Israel, be extremely cautious. Follow instructions from security forces and take care of yourself and those around you. In case of any need, please contact our embassy by any means available to you. Ukraine will help all its people, no matter what happens.

Today the whole world saw horrifying footage from Israel - footage of how terrorists are abusing women, men, taking even elderly people as hostages without mercy... My condolences to everyone whose relatives and close ones have perished... And I wish a speedy recovery to all who were injured.

When such an attack by terrorists occurs, everyone who values life must be united.

We in Ukraine feel this especially. Thousands of rockets in the skies over Israel… People killed on the streets… Shot-up civilian cars… Abusing hostages… All this, unfortunately, has come to the streets of Ukrainian towns and villages as well. Our position is absolutely clear: wherever in the world anyone who brings terror and death must be held accountable.

Today's terrorist attack on Israel was meticulously planned, and the whole world understands which sponsors of terrorism could have incited and provided for the organization of this attack. 

Israel has every right to defend itself from terror as any other country does. And it is very important that the entire world unite and react decisively against terrorism. 

No support for terrorists! No matter where they aim their rockets or whom they attack, terrorists must lose. And this is important for the whole world. Human life, peace, and tranquility of peoples are equally important everywhere - in Asia, Europe, Africa, America, Australia. Everywhere!

Let the value of human life and rejection of terrorism be the principles that will finally unite the entire world.
