The blue-and-yellow team started Group B with a confident victory over Belgium (10:2), but then lost to Poland (2:3). In the third match, our team traveled to Vranje and faced Serbia.

The Ukrainians started the game strongly. Just 18 seconds in, Shourma delivered a corner kick, and Shev scored against the opposition's goal. On the eighth minute, Abakshin outmaneuvered a defender and accurately shot into the upper corner—2:0. A minute later, the score became 4:0—first Zhuk dribbled past the goalkeeper, then Shev completed his brace by shooting under Vuлич—1:6. 

After halftime, the initiative was again with the blue-and-yellow team. On the 25th minute, Korsun took advantage of a corner kick pass, and on the 31st minute, Lebid assisted Abakshin—6:1. This result remained final in the match.
