The match between Ukraine and Northern Ireland will start at the National Training Center pitch in Poprad, Slovakia, at 18:30 local time (19:30 Kyiv time). We remind you that as part of preparations for the Euro-2025 (U-21) qualifiers, the blue and yellow team played a friendly match against Germany's youth national team. The game took place on September 8 at the "Ludwigsparkstadion" in Saarbrücken and ended with a loss for the visitors—0:2.

The day before the match against Northern Ireland, head coach of Ukraine's youth national team Unai Melgosa, commenting on their opponent's loss to Luxembourg at the start of the qualifiers, noted: "The Irish lost their first game. You never know how they will react to that. But after watching the match, I can say that they could have scored and not lost. They have qualities and abilities, so we need to show our best version of ourselves to play accordingly and try to win."
