In Wrocław, where the Euro 2024 qualifier match Ukraine — England (1:1) took place, a meeting was held in which First Vice-Presidents of the UAF Oleksiy Mykhaylichenko and Vadim Kostyuchenko, as well as Financial Director of the Football Association of England Mark Bullingham, UEFA Delegate Amel Gherina, General Secretary of the Football Association of England Mark Bullingham, and National Associations Department Council Member of UEFA Josef Clement participated.

UEFA representatives assured UAF leaders of continued support, which includes national teams of Ukraine and various social projects taking place in our country. In turn, representatives of the Football Association of England were thanked for fruitful cooperation and assistance to Ukrainian football and Ukraine during Russia's military aggression. A vivid example of such help was the Game4Ukraine match — a charitable football game that took place on August 5 at Stamford Bridge Stadium. In this match, teams named after Shevchenko and Zinchenko played against each other, and all collected funds were transferred to the United24 platform, which finances Ukraine's recovery.

During the meeting, representatives of the Football Association of England presented Oleksiy Mykhaylichenko with a commemorative award as a legend of world football for outstanding achievements during his playing career.
