Yuri Klymenko's wards secured second place in Group V at the group stage of the III European Games in Tarnów and advanced to the semifinals. Recall that our team lost to Italy (2:1) and conceded to Spain (4:6). 

In today's semifinal match against Portugal, Irina Dubitska scored in the first period, putting our team ahead. In the second 12-minute segment, the Portuguese equalized, but Maria Tikhonova quickly restored Ukraine's lead.

Iryna Kostyuk sealed the victory with a winning shot in the third period. The final score was 3:1 for the Ukrainian team.

Tomorrow, our team will play in the final against Spain.
