Today, Yuri Klymenko's wards started at the III European Games in Poland. In their debut group stage match of the tournament, they faced the world's top-ranked team — Spain.

After the first period, it seemed that there would be no competition in this game. In the initial 12 minutes, the Spanish scored three clean goals against us. However, after halftime, our girls managed to regroup and reduce the deficit with efforts from Iryna Vasylyuk and Anastasiia Kliapachenko.

Later, Kliapachenko succeeded in scoring a brace, while Iryna Shulga added another goal. Nevertheless, our opponents scored three more times and won the match with a score of 6:4.
