Andriy Yarmolenko, captain of the Ukraine national team, shared his impressions from the Euro-2024 qualifier match against North Macedonia (3:2).

"Of course, we are satisfied with the result because we were losing 0-2. But there are many questions about our play, especially in the first half when we played very poorly. However, everyone deserves praise for coming together in the second half and turning the game around. The game is forgotten, but the result remains. Now it's time to rest and prepare for the next match.

Of course, during halftime, Serhiy Rebrov said us a few good things, which motivated us. It's good that we reacted well and managed to change the course of the game. We scored six goals in two matches. This is good, but we also concede a lot. We need to work on our mistakes.

Two of our players scored their first goals for the national team in this match. We congratulated them in the dressing room. Well done — they worked hard and earned it. I want to congratulate all fans with this victory. The boys proved that they are true Ukrainians who fight until the end," — said Andriy Yarmolenko.
