After the match against Germany in Bremen at the "Weser Stadium," which ended in a 3-3 draw, head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Serhiy Rebrov, held a press conference.

Questions about the squad. What are the reasons for not including Boyal'skyi, Korchigin, and Rusin?

— We tried to create competition for every position. These players did not make it, but there are no issues with them regarding the training process. It was necessary to decide, but I am confident that they understand this. These players will prepare for official matches.

A draw (3-3) against Germany is this a success or did we lose?

— Ask yourself if it's a success to play — 3:3 with Germany. This was an unofficial match. I believe that we created enough opportunities and could have scored even more.

Were the substitutions planned, or did you decide on them during the course of the game?

— Several substitutions were planned. At the end, we had two more and used them under pressure from the match. Mykola Mykhaylichenko said he felt his knee a bit. For the last two substitutions, we looked at the situation on the field.

The head coach of the German national team did not comment on Ukraine's performance today. How would you evaluate the team? What are your emotions?

— I am grateful to the players, fans who came to the stadium — we felt their support, which was very important. We felt the support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This match was important for Ukraine, and I am very thankful to the hosts. For me personally, this is an important game, it's my first one. I'm glad that the boys took the game seriously. I believe we showed a decent result.

I repeat, this is an important match for Ukraine. We are all grateful to Germany for their support of our country in the war with the aggressor and for hosting us.
