Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on May 29, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred and sixtieth day of large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against our state has begun.

The Russian Federation, regardless of losses, continues its occupation war. It disregards international humanitarian law, striking not only military but also civilian targets.

Last night, Russian occupiers launched up to 40 air-launched cruise missiles X-101/X-555 from nine strategic aviation Tu-95ms aircraft from the Caspian Sea region.

From northern and southern directions, the enemy attacked with Iranian drones Shahed-136/131. In total — 35 strike drones.

Forces and means of the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 67 aerial targets: 37 cruise missiles X-101/X-555; 29 strike drones Shahed, and one reconnaissance drone at the operational-tactical level.

Overall during the past day, the enemy delivered 97 air strikes, including the use of 59 Iranian strike drones Shahed. 58 "Shaheds" were destroyed by our defenders. The enemy also carried out 39 rocket artillery attacks on positions of our troops and populated areas.

The probability of missile and air strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

The enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts on attempts at full occupation of Luhansk and Donetsk regions. During the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled 19 enemy attacks.

On the Volynian and Polesian directions the operational situation remains stable; no signs of forming offensive groups have been detected. Certain subunits of the Russian Federation's armed forces are arriving at Belarusian ranges for combat training before being deployed to Ukraine.

On the Northern and Slobodian directions the enemy continues to maintain a military presence in border areas with Ukraine. During the past day, it delivered air strikes in the areas of Kynratiivka, Basyvky, Mogrytsia, Myropillya, Slavgorod Sumy region, and Plytenivka, Vovchansky Hutor Kharkiv region. It also carried out mortar and artillery shelling of populated areas Gutystudenets, Karpovichi, Timonovichi, Zalizny Mist, Galaganyvka, Muravy, Khodin Chernihiv region; Novovasylivka, Seredyna-Buda, Progress, Demianivka, Khodin Sumy region, as well as Lipci, Gatsishche, Plytenivka, Vovchansk, Mala Vovcha and Budarki in the Kharkiv region.

On the Kupiansk direction during the past day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near Masutyvky. It delivered an air strike in the area of Kyslivka Kharkiv region. Artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy was experienced by Kolodyazne, Krasnoe Perechne, Figolivka, Novomlynsky, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Masutyvky, Kyslivka, Berestove Kharkiv region.

On the Lyman direction during the past day, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions. It delivered air strikes in the areas of Yagidnoe Kharkiv region; Serhiyivka, Bihorivka Luhansk region; Ivanivka, Spireny, Rai-Oleksandrivka, Veseloe Donetsk region. Artillery shelling was experienced by Nevskoie, Bihorivka Luhansk region; Torske, Verkhnyokamyanske and Spiresne Donetsk region.

On the Bakhmut direction during the day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions northeast of Orilovo-Vasylivka and towards Ivanivske. It delivered air strikes in the areas of Predtechinoye, White Mountain, Kurdyumovka, New York, Yablunyvka Donetsk region. The villages Vasylivka, Privillya, Orilovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Bogdanivka, Chasyev Yard, Ivanivske, Stupochki, Predtechinoye, Kostyanynivka and Pivnichne Donetsk region suffered from enemy shelling.

On the Avdiyivka direction the enemy did not conduct offensive actions. It delivered air strikes in the areas of Avdiyivka, Vodyany, Perevalsk Donetsk region. It carried out artillery shelling of populated areas Avdiyivka, Perevalsk, Karlivka Donetsk region.

On the Mariupol direction our defenders repelled 12 enemy attacks in the area of Mariinka city. The enemy delivered an air strike near Mariinka. At the same time, the village Pobeda Donetsk region also suffered from enemy shelling.

On the Shakhtarsk direction the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Velyka Novosilka Donetsk region. It delivered an air strike near Vuhledar. It carried out shelling of populated areas Paraskevivka, Novomikhaylivka, Vuhledar, Novoukrainka, Prechystyvka and Shakhtarsk.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions the enemy continues to conduct defensive actions. It delivered an air strike in the area of Berislav Kherson region. It carried out shelling of populated areas Vremivka, Novopil Donetsk region; Olhyvskye, Hulyaypole, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Orikhiv, Novoandriyivka, Mali Shcherbaky and Stepanogroshchok Zaporizhzhia region; Zolota Balka, Mikhailivka, Veselo, Kozatske, Mykolaivka, Lvov, Ivanivka, Antonivka, Dniprovske, Kyzomys Kherson region as well as the city of Kherson.

The aviation of the Defense Forces delivered 15 strikes on areas of enemy personnel and military equipment concentration during the day, as well as six — against its anti-aircraft missile systems.

Our defenders destroyed an enemy reconnaissance drone during the past day.

Subunits of rocket troops and artillery hit three areas of weapons and military equipment concentration, a S-300 air defense system, a Tor anti-aircraft missile complex, six command points, a radio-electronic warfare station, an artillery subunit on firing position and an ammunition depot.

Overall, Ukrainian soldiers liquidated 430 Russian occupiers, destroyed four tanks, eleven armored combat vehicles, ten artillery systems, one MLRS, two air defense means, sixty-one operational-tactical level drones, fifteen cars and two units of special equipment.
