President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, informing about large-scale sanction steps against Russian companies and individuals as well as the transfer of another batch of various defensive weapons to our state.

"I wish health to all dear Ukrainians!

Today is yet another day of sanctions. There are sanctions against legal and physical entities — the majority of them Russian, — who work for terror.

In total 220 companies and 51 individuals. These are defense industry enterprises and related Russian companies. Enterprises that serve the war. And people through whom these companies are managed.

Not all of them operate on the territory of the state-terrorist, some — in other countries. But a global pressure is being exerted on all of them. Step by step we gather complete data about everyone who works for aggression — directly or indirectly. Every such person will be blocked, and our Ukrainian sanctions are either already synchronized with the free world's sanctions or will be.

When Russia started this aggression, they looked at the world as if in a mirror. They thought that everyone in the world is just as cynical and disrespectful of people as Russian rulers are. But the world is different — the world helps us defend life. And anyone who goes against the world will become an outcast. Russia gains nothing and loses everything, along with those who still try to help it in terror.

We will continue our sanction steps, and new sanctions packages are on deck — even more extensive.

I want to thank Japan for a new sanctions package against Russia. Thank you also for the new security aid from Japan. This is what really saves lives.

Thank you Finland for a new defense package for Ukraine, this decision was made this week as well.

Thank you Germany for transferring our state another batch of various defensive weapons that strengthen our protection from Russian terror, including air defense.

I want to thank Canada for its readiness to reinforce its leadership in supporting Ukraine.

Thank you Iceland for help with our defense and people.

Next week will also be strong from the perspective of our cooperation with partners. We do not lose any week.

And, as always, I thank our soldiers, each one who distinguished themselves during the week.

Bakhmut direction. 80th separate airborne assault brigade — thank you, soldiers, for your active actions! This is exactly what we need. The glorious 93rd separate mechanized brigade "Cold Grove" — thank you for your steadfastness and courage! Well done!

Lyman direction. 81st separate air assault brigade — thank you, guys, for your effectiveness in destroying the enemy!

OSUV "Tavria". 35th and 36th separate marine infantry brigades, 55th separate artillery brigade, 59th separate motorized infantry brigade and paratroopers of our "seventy-ninth" — I thank all of you! As always — strong, as always — very effective!

Glory to everyone who defends our state! Glory to everyone who helps!

Glory to Ukraine!"
