President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, informing about the consequences of Russian missile strikes on our territories and his latest meeting at all levels of state management.

"I wish health to dear Ukrainians!

This Monday and new week started with an hour-long meeting with all levels of state management and defense. The Prime Minister, ministers, Office head reported. Chiefs of the General Staff and Foreign Intelligence Service, SBU head, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.

The first issue - consequences of Russian strikes, especially missile attacks. Only last night, from midnight to seven in the morning, we managed to shoot down 15 Russian missiles. But unfortunately, not all of them. We are working as actively as possible with partners so that our sky becomes even more secure.

We discussed at the early morning meeting the likely behavior of the enemy in the near future and coordinated our defensive steps.

Separately - the issue of weapons and ammunition for our soldiers. Also - the situation on currently occupied territory and counteraction against Russia. No chance for occupiers on our land! Only destruction for the enemy!

Here is just one example today. Chernihiv region, village Lizunivka, this is in the north of the oblast, near the state border. There a Russian air bomb destroyed another Ukrainian school. Sadly, this strike took the life of a teenager. A boy born in 2009. Fourteen years old! He was simply nearby the school. My condolences to relatives...

Pavlograd Dnipropetrovsk region. Missiles from terrorists took two lives, young men. My condolences to families... Forty more people - women, children, men - received help after injuries and trauma.

For every such strike Russian occupiers receive our response. And I thank all of our soldiers who ensure this day and night. Who defend our positions, repel Russian assaults, assist their comrades nearby on the frontline, and destroy the occupier as much as possible. The more Ukrainian accuracy, the more Ukrainian solidarity - the sooner Russian evil will be destroyed.

I thank all of our partners who see Ukraine's and the world's common task exactly like this: an obvious defeat for a state-terrorist and a just peace for Ukraine and all of Europe.

Today I held several meetings regarding our diplomatic work in May, which is approaching such a peace - just such a result of this war - the defeat of the occupier.

I also had several phone conversations today. Thanked Canada and Prime Minister Trudeau personally for their unwavering support to our country. We are preparing a program of long-term defense cooperation between Ukraine and Canada. Very important: Canada has already started confiscating Russian assets. And this is a weighty example for all others around the world. Discussed sanctions pressure, as well as political interaction.

Spoke today with New Zealand Prime Minister Hipkins too. Thanked for principled defense of international law - New Zealand often leads in sanction restrictions. Also thanked for participation in training our soldiers. Agreed to work on greater consolidation of Pacific region countries to defend international rules.

And one more thing.

Today marks the tenth anniversary since the founding of one of Ukraine's glorious military units, namely - 140th Separate Special Operations Center. These are very skilled soldiers - resolute, strong and extremely experienced. They participated in the defense and liberation of Kyiv region - Bucha, Hostomel, Boryspil and other cities and villages, Kharkiv region - Izium, Chuhuiv. Performed strategically important missions on southern fronts, fiercely fought against occupiers in Donbas. Thank you, soldiers!

Ukraine will always remember your bravery, it will never forget those soldiers who gave their lives in battle for the state. May they be honored by our country's victory in this war!

Glory to all fighting for Ukraine!

Glory to all protecting and saving our people!

Glory to Ukraine!»
