Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on March 29, 2023, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The ninety-ninth day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

During the past day, the enemy carried out 18 air strikes and three missile attacks, conducted 50 shelling operations with multiple rocket launchers on our troops' positions and civilian infrastructure in populated areas.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high as the enemy continues to ignore laws and customs of war, employing a terror tactic against civilians. On March 28, due to a missile strike on the infrastructure of Bogodukhiv city in Kharkiv region, civilian casualties occurred, and private homes were damaged.

The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on conducting offensive operations along the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariupol axes. The epicenter of combat actions remains Bilohorivka, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Mariinka, and their surroundings. Thanks to professional and coordinated actions during the past day, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 57 enemy attacks on the mentioned axes.

On the Volynian, Polesian, Northern, and Slobozhanskyi fronts, the operational situation — no significant changes. Signs of forming offensive groupings have not been detected. Military exercises of territorial defense units of the Russian Armed Forces continue in Belarusian territory. The enemy maintains military presence in border areas of Kursk and Belgorod regions. During the past day, the enemy carried out shelling in the areas of populated places such as Kucherivka, Bilyipil'lia, Volvino in Sumy region, and Timofiyivka, Chervona Zoriya, Veterinarnoe, Strilecha, Glybokoye, Krasnoye, Staritsa, Ogireve, Komisarove, Ustynivka, Vilkhuvatka, and Stroyivka in Kharkiv region.

On the Kupianskyi and Lyman axes, during the past day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas of populated places such as Krokhmalne, Novoselyvskoye, Stebluhivka, Bilohorivka, Verhnyokamyanske, Bereste. He carried out artillery shelling on the territories of Kamyanka, Krasnoye First, Figolivka, Novomlyn'sk, Kut'ykivka, Dvorychyna, Zapadne, Vils'hana, Kislyvka and Bereste in Kharkiv region; Novoselyvskoye, Nevyske, Kuz'mine, Dybrova and Bilohorivka in Luhansk region, as well as Spirene in Donetsk region.

On the Bakhmut axis, the enemy continues to storm the city of Bakhmut. However, our defenders bravely hold the city, repelling numerous attacks by the enemy. During the past day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas of populated places such as Orivohovasylivka, Hryhoriyevka, Ivanivske, Predtekhine and Ozaryanivka in Donetsk region. He carried out shelling on the territories of Vasukivka, Mynkivka, Orivohovasylivka, Novomarkove, Khromove, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Kurdyumyvka, Ozaryanivka, Druzhba, Shumi and Mayorivka in Donetsk region.

On the Avdiivka and Mariupol axes, the enemy conducted offensive operations towards populated places such as Novokalynove, Krasnogorivka, Stepevoe, Pervomaiskoe and Mariinka. He did not succeed in his efforts. He carried out shelling on the territories of Novokalynove, Krasnogorivka, Gostre, Georgiyivka, Stepevoe, Lastochkinne, Avdiyivka, Tonenn'koye, Pervomaiskoe, Mariinka, Pobeda, Paraskevivka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region.

On the Shakhtarskyi axis, during the past day, the enemy carried out shelling on territories of populated places such as Vuhledar, Zolotaya Niva, Velika Novosyolka and Verymivka in Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes, the enemy continues to conduct defensive operations. He carried out shelling on territories of populated places such as Novosyolok, Novopil in Donetsk region; Hulyaypole, Bilyohirya, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka and Novoandriyivka in Zaporizhzhia region; Antonivka and the city of Kherson.

The enemy continues to cynically use medical facilities on temporarily occupied territories for their own purposes. Thus, a local clinic in Bilotvorivske, Luhansk region, was equipped as a military hospital with 200 beds. Currently, the medical facility is treating occupiers who have minor injuries. At the same time, all civilians are supposedly "discharged."

There is a trend where Russian conscripts refuse to carry out orders from commanders. Thus, on March 23 of this year, nearly 70 individuals from volunteer formations "Nevoisky" and "Veterans" were disarmed and delivered to Makivka in Donetsk region for refusing to carry out combat assignments. A similar incident occurred on March 25 — an individual unit of the enemy's reconnaissance platoon refused to carry out orders while operating along the Avdiyivka axis.

The aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out five strikes during the past day in areas where enemy personnel and military equipment are concentrated. At the same time, our defenders shot down two enemy UAVs «Orlan-10» and ZALA.

Units of rocket troops and artillery inflicted damage on a command post, six concentration points for manpower and weapons, an air defense missile system, as well as an ammunition depot.

Overall during the past day, our defenders liquidated 610 Russian occupiers, destroyed seven tanks, six artillery systems. In addition, the enemy lost one multiple rocket launcher, one aircraft, four tactical-level UAVs, five vehicles and a unit of special equipment.
