Note to Your Attention — Operational Information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on March 28, 2023 regarding Russia's invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The three hundred ninety-eighth day of large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.

During the past day, the enemy carried out 24 air strikes and 12 missile attacks, conducted 55 shelling operations with multiple rocket launchers.

The enemy continues to ignore laws and customs of war, employing tactics of terror against civilians in our country. On March 27, as a result of a missile strike on the infrastructure of Sloviansk city in Donetsk region, civilian casualties occurred, including fatalities. Multi-story buildings and private homes were damaged. In Kherson region, in Berislov city, a civilian object was damaged due to an air strike by the enemy.

During the night for conducting airstrikes, the enemy deployed 15 combat drones of the "Shahed-136" type. Fourteen of them were destroyed by our defenders.

The likelihood of further missile and air strikes remains high across the entire territory of Ukraine.

The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on conducting offensive operations on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariupol axes. The most intense battles are ongoing for Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariupol. Thanks to professional and coordinated actions during the past day, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 62 enemy attacks on the mentioned directions.

On the Volyn, Polesie, North, and Slobozhansky axes, the operational situation — no significant changes. Signs of forming offensive groups have not been detected. In the territory of Belarusian republic, military training exercises by units of Russian Federation's armed forces are ongoing. During the past day, the enemy carried out shelling in areas of Blazhnya village, Chernihiv region; Baranivka, Tovstodubove, Studenok, Holishivske, Stukalivka, Volvynne, Turia, Mayske, Mezhenyvka and Popivka villages in Sumy region, as well as areas of Timofievka, Krasnoe, Ustynivka and Chornye villages on Kharkivshchyna.

On the Kupianskyi and Lyman axes, during the past day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in areas of Krokhmalne, Kreminna, Kuzymine, Bihorivka, Verhnyokamyanske and Bereste villages. Conducted artillery shelling in areas of Kamianka, Kolodyazhne, Krasnoe First, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kupyansk Kharkiv region; Stehlmykhivske, Novoselyvske, Nevesk and Bihorivka villages — Luhansk region, as well as Terny, Severnyi, Spirene and Viimykha on Donetschyna.

On the Bakhmut axis, the enemy continues to storm the city of Bakhmut, which is held by our defenders, as well as offensive actions in areas of Orilhovo-Vasylivka, Bogdanivka, Ivanivske and Ozarivske villages. Shelled Vasylkivka, Hryhorivka, Mynkivka, Orilhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Bakhmut, Predtekhine, Kurdyumivka, Ozarivske, Druzhba and Mayorovka Donetsk region.

On the Avdiivskyi and Mariupol axes, during the past day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations towards Stepove, Avdiivka, Severne, Pervomaisk, Nevelske and Mariupol villages. Used aerosol "tear gas" grenades of non-lethal effect in areas of Novokalynovske, Lastochkinske, Pervomaisk and Mariupol villages. Conducted shelling over ten populated places. Among them — Novokalynovske, Krasnogorivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, Tonenne, Severne, Pervomaisk, Nevelske, Mariupol and Novomykhailivka Donetsk region.

On the Shakhtarskyi axis, during the past day, the enemy carried out shelling in areas of Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Velika Novosilka and Verymivka on Donetschyna.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes, the enemy is defending. Conducted shelling of populated places in Vylne Pole, Novosilka, Novopil Donetsk region; Poltavka, Maliyivka, Hulyaypole, Zaliznychnye, Bihorija, Novodanylivka Zaporizhzhia region and Kherson, Kozatske and Antonivka.

Russian occupiers continue to strengthen regime measures on temporarily occupied territories. A tendency is observed where restrictions are imposed on the free movement of Ukrainian citizens between populated places. In particular, in Gorlivskyi district of Donetsk region, as well as in Kakhovska district of Kherson region, it is impossible to enter certain populated places without local registration.

The aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out nine strikes on areas of enemy personnel concentration during the past day, and one — on a surface-to-air missile system. Also, during the past day, our soldiers shot down five enemy reconnaissance drones of various types.

Units of rocket forces and artillery simultaneously hit three command points, as well as an area of enemy personnel concentration, an artillery unit on firing position, a munitions depot, a propellant material depot, and two more important targets for the occupiers.

Overall during the past day, our soldiers liquidated 570 Russian invaders. The enemy also lost seven tanks, thirteen armored combat vehicles, fifteen artillery systems, two MLRS, nine automobiles, and two units of special equipment.
