The national team of Ukraine held an official training session on the pitch at London's Wembley Stadium. An interesting fact — for the first time this week, not a single drop of rain fell during practice.

By the way, it started raining as soon as the blue-and-yellow team left the legendary arena and is expected to continue until lunchtime tomorrow. No precipitation is forecasted during the game, but there will be gusty winds in London this evening.

After warming up and drills, the blue-and-yellow team practiced elements of the game plan chosen by the coaching staff for tomorrow's match.

For most players in the national squad, today’s practice at the legendary stadium built in 2007 on the site of the old Wembley, which was demolished in 2003 after being constructed in 1923, was their debut.

In the previous match between Ukraine and England at this stadium — in September 2012 — three of today's blue-and-yellow team members played: assistant head coach Ruslan Rotan, Andriy Yarmolenko, and Yevhen Konoplyanka (Taras Stepanenko was on the bench).

The players are preparing for a tough match, understanding the pressure the hosts will exert: 87,000 fans will attend the match, including nearly half a thousand Ukrainians.
