On Friday, March 17, our girls defeated the Hungarian team — 2:1 and for the first time in history advanced to the final of the European Championship, which means — they guaranteed themselves at least silver medals. We remind you that last year's Euro, the Ukrainian women won bronze, and in 2019 they secured fourth place.

In the final, the blue-and-yellow team will face the winner of both previous European championships — Spain. In the semifinal, "La Furia Roja" overcame Portugal — 3:2. The match Ukraine vs. Spain will take place today, March 19 (kickoff at 9 PM Kyiv time), with a live broadcast planned on Suspilne: Sport.

In the Euro-2023 qualifiers, the Spanish team started from the main round and secured first place in Group 1 by defeating Belgium (14:0), Sweden (6:1), and Finland (7:2).
