The head coach of the Ukrainian women's national futsal team, Oleg Shaytanov, and player Anna Shulga commented on their qualification for the Euro 2023 final.

In the semi-final of Euro 2023, Ukraine defeated Hungary (2:1) thanks to Anna Shulga's brace. Post-match comments from representatives of the Ukrainian women's national futsal team are available on the UEFA official website.

"This is truly an incredible feeling — reaching the final! We're happy to be at this tournament. We were prepared for such a game when our opponents defended deeply, but we didn't feel that the winning goal wouldn't come."

"I'm happy that my injury problems are behind me, and I'm compensating for what I missed in the last tournament. It's truly fantastic to score two goals that took us to the final. Although it doesn't matter who scored; the main thing is we're in the final!" — said Anna Shulga.

"This was a tough journey. We had many injuries, lots of sweat and tears, but we are in the final, and this is incredible!

We expected Hungary to be a very difficult opponent. We had several challenging matches against them in Cherkasy and at the last Euro. Perhaps we didn't always capitalize on our chances as we should have, but an important result since our goal was to reach the final," — said Oleg Shaytanov.

The Ukrainian women's national futsal team has for the first time in history reached the Euro final. There they will face the two-time defending champions — Spain. The match will take place on Sunday, March 19 (kick-off at 21:00 Kyiv time).
