To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on January 22, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The third hundred and thirty-third day of Russia's large-scale invasion has begun.

During the day, the enemy carried out one missile and 27 air strikes. Also conducted 55 artillery attacks using multiple rocket launchers.

The threat of being hit by strikes using ground-based and airborne missiles as well as kamikaze drones remains across all of Ukraine.

Occupants are conducting unsuccessful offensive actions on the Avdiivka and Lyman axes. Continue to attempt an advance on the Bakhmut axis, increasing the intensity of air force use. On other axes — defending.

Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled attacks by aggressors in the areas of the populated places Novoselivske in Luhansk Oblast and Terny, Serednytsya Forest, Verkhnyokamyanske, Bihorivka, Krasna Gora, Bakhmut, Pereymayiske, Mariinka, and Pobedy in Donetsk.

On the Volynian, Polissian, Northern, and Slobozhansky axes no enemy offensive groupings were detected.

Areas of populated places Brusky, Chernihiv Oblast, Sopich — Sumy Oblast, as well as Veterinarnoe, Strelcha, Pilyne, Staritsa, Vovchansk, Novomlyniske, Dvoriche, and Kupyanske in Kharkiv were affected by enemy mortar and artillery fire.

On the Kupyansk axis shelling was suffered by Synkivka, Petro-Pavlivka, Tabayivka, and Krykhmalne in Kharkiv Oblast and Novoselivske and Steblyakhivka in Luhansk.

On the Lyman axis the enemy shelled Mykolaivka, Plyshanka, Chervonopopivka, Kuzmine, and Serednytsya Forest in Luhansk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut axis our military positions in more than 15 populated areas were subjected to fire. Among them — Verkhnyokamyanske, Viymaka, Spirene, Bihorivka, Soltar, Bakhmut, Klyshyivka, New York, Friendship, and Zalizne in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Avdiivka axis Avdiivka, Vodyane, Pereymayiske, Nevelske, Georgiyevka, Krasnogorivka, and Mariinka in Donetsk were hit by enemy fire.

On the Novopavlivsk axis Bohoyavlensk and Mykolyske in Donetsk Oblast were shelled.

On the Zaporizhzhia axis more than 15 populated areas suffered from artillery fire. Among them are Vremivka, Malinivka, Hulyaypole, Charyvne, Mala Tokmachka, Orikhy, Novodanylivka, Kamianske, Zelenyi Hai, and Novosilka in Zaporizhzhia.

On the Kherson axis occupiers again shelled Bilozersk, Dniprovsk, Yantarny, Beregove, and Kherson with all types of artillery.

The Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out 14 strikes on enemy concentrations during the day and three — on positions of enemy air defense missile systems.

Units of rocket forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck two areas of enemy concentration.
