To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on December 1, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred eighty-first day of Russia's large-scale invasion has begun.

The enemy continues its military aggression against our state, does not stop delivering strikes on civilian infrastructure objects, violating international humanitarian law, laws and customs of war. It concentrates main efforts on conducting offensive actions on the Bakhmut and Avdiivka axes.

Over the past day, subunits of the Defense Forces repelled attacks by Russian occupiers in the areas of populated places: Novoselivske, Steblymovka, and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Bakhmut, Kurdyumivka, Krasnogorivka, Kamianka, Vodyane, Perevalne, and Mariinka in Donetsk.

To prevent the advance of Ukrainian troops on the Svatove and Lyman axes, the enemy is carrying out engineering equipment of the defense line. Continues to move personnel, ammunition, and propellant-materials for replenishment and support of new subunits and those that have suffered losses.

During the past day, the enemy delivered two rocket strikes on civilian objects in the populated place of Komysuhova in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, carried out 41 air raids and 28 artillery attacks with MLRS on positions of our troops and populated places, including the city of Kherson.

There remains a threat of enemy occupation forces delivering rocket strikes against objects of the energy system and critical infrastructure across Ukraine's territory.

On the Volyn and Polesie axes, there are no significant changes in the situation, signs of forming offensive groupings by the enemy have not been detected. On the republic's training grounds, preparations for separate units of the enemy continue.

On the Northern axis, aggressors carried out artillery attacks on populated places Seredyna-Buda, Bachivske, Bilepyllya, Budky and Krasnopilya in Sumy Oblast.

On the Slobozhanskyi axis, the enemy continues to maintain its troops in border areas of Belgorod Oblast. Artillery attacks from Russian artillery were suffered by the areas around populated places Veterinarnoe, Kozacha Lopan', Vishcha Yaruga, Strilechka, Krasnoe, Staritsa, Ogireve, Budarky, Chugunivka, Dvorichna and Zapadne in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansk and Lyman axes, the enemy is on defense. Fire influence of the enemy was recorded in the areas around populated places Kupyansk, Kislivka, Kotliarivka, Tabaiivka, Krokhmalne, Berestove, Druzheluvyve Kharkiv Oblast and Novoselivske, Steblymovka, Makieivka and Bilohorivka in Luhansk.

On the Bakhmut axis, the enemy continues to concentrate main efforts on conducting offensive actions. Artillery attacks from tanks, mortars, field and rocket artillery were suffered by objects around populated places Verkhnyokamyanske, Sipyne, Viyimka, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Sverdlovsk, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Opitne, Klyshchyvka, Pivnichne, Zalizne and New York.

On the Avdiivka axis, the enemy attempts to improve tactical position. Fire influence from tanks and artillery of various types was suffered by objects around populated places Avdiivka, Vodyane, Perevalne, Nevelske, Krasnogorivka, Mariinka and Novomikhailivka in Donetsk.

On the Novopavlivskyi axis, the enemy is on defense. Artillery attacks from all types of artillery were recorded around populated places Vuhledar, Bogoyavlensk, Prechystyvky and Bila Nova Sylka in Donetsk.

On the Zaporizhzhia axis, the enemy is conducting defensive actions. Carried out artillery attacks on areas around populated places Zagorie, Oril', Novoantrivka, Maliy Shcherbaky and Plyvny in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk.

On the Kherson axis, the enemy is defending previously occupied positions. Artillery attacks from tanks and artillery were suffered by areas around populated places located on the right bank of the river Dnipro in Kherson Oblast. The enemy does not stop shelling suburbs and the city of Kherson itself.

A decrease in the number of Russian military personnel and military equipment is observed in the populated place of Oleshky. From separate populated places in Kherson Oblast, enemy troops have been withdrawn and redeployed into forest belts along the section of highway Oleshky — Gola Pristan'. The main part of the troops are mobilized individuals.

Russian occupiers continue to use civilian objects on temporarily occupied territories. Thus, in premises of a school in one of the populated places in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, aggressors have set up a field hospital. At the same time, during November 28-29, evacuation of wounded aggressors by columns of trucks and buses moving towards Melitopol' was recorded.

The aviation of the Defense Forces over the past day delivered 17 strikes on areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the enemy as well as four strikes against positions of its air defense missile systems.

At the same time, Ukrainian subunits shot down a UAV (likely type "Orlan-10"). Information is being verified.

Subunits of rocket forces and artillery of the Defense Forces over the past day inflicted damage on seven areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, ammunition supply points, as well as five other important enemy objects.
