Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 17.11.2022 regarding the Russian invasion into our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred sixty-seventh day of the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

Over the past day, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled attacks by occupiers in the areas of the populated places of Stelmakhivka and Bihorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Verkhnyokamyanske, Siversk, Nevelske, Mariinka, and Perevalsk on Donets.

The enemy continues to shell our troops' positions and populated areas near the line of contact. Russian occupiers inflicted four aviation and six missile strikes, carried out more than 40 shelling with multiple rocket launchers. Also during the past day, objects of civilian infrastructure in the city of Zaporizhzhia were hit by a missile strike.

On the Volynian and Polesian directions, there are no significant changes to the situation. The Republic of Belarus continues to support Russia's military aggression against Ukraine, providing it with infrastructure, territory, and airspace. There remains a threat of missile and aviation strikes on Ukrainian territory.

On other fronts, the enemy carried out shelling:

on the Slovozhansk direction — with mortars and field artillery in the areas of populated places Starytsia and Ambarne in Kharkiv Oblast;

on the Kupyansk and Lyman directions — from tanks and various types of artillery in the areas of populated places Kupyansk, Kislivka, Krokhmalne, Berestove, Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Makieivka, and Plyshanka;

on the Bakhmut direction — from tanks and all types of artillery in the areas of populated places Serbyrne, Spirene, Rozdolovka, Yakovlivka, Siversk, Bakhmutsko, Bakhmut, Opytnoe, Zelenopillya, Andriyivka, Kurdyumivka and Ozaryanivka;

on the Avdiivka direction — from tanks, mortars, field artillery, and multiple rocket launchers in the areas of New York, Krasnogorivka, Kamianka, Avdiivka, Perevalsk, Nevelske, and Mariinka;

on the Novopavlivka direction — with various types of artillery in the areas of Vuhledar, Bogoyavlensk, Prechystivka, and Veremivka;

on the Zaporizhzhia direction — from tanks and various calibers of artillery in the areas of populated places Hulaihpilske, Novoandriyivka, and Shcherbak.

On the Kherson direction, artillery shelling was suffered by Zelenivka, Chornobaivka, and Kherson.

Also, populated places Nikopol and Chernogryhorivka in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast were affected by fire from Russian field and multiple rocket launchers.

Russian invaders continue to suffer losses. According to updated information, on November 15, our soldiers destroyed the headquarters of one of the enemy units in Melitopol city. As a result of actions by Defense Forces in the areas of populated places Kinsky Rozdory, Vladivka and Blagoveshchensk in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, two ammunition depots were destroyed, two BM-21 Grad units and a S-300 air defense missile system. The enemy also lost about 100 people killed and wounded.

In the Kakhovka district, the enemy has strengthened filtration measures after an effective artillery strike by Defense Forces on its positions. In Kakhivka itself, Russian invaders are bypassing infrastructure objects and destroying satellite communication towers.

Russian occupiers do not cease attempts to impose their own culture and destroy Ukrainian culture in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. According to available information, in Enerhodar city of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, all history textbooks were removed for further destruction. By the decree of the self-proclaimed authorities of the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk Oblast, Russian President's decrees have conferred so-called «honorary titles» to cities Gorlivka and Mariupol.

Ukrainian Defense Forces' aviation carried out strikes on two positions of enemy air defense missile systems during the past day.

Units of rocket forces and artillery of Ukrainian Defense Forces over the past day hit two command points, six areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, three ammunition depots, as well as three other important targets of occupiers.
