"I wish health to all dear Ukrainians!

Today was a very productive and symbolic day — in Kherson, in Mykolaiv.

First of all, I had the honor to personally award our soldiers with state awards. In Kherson, I presented 36 Orders of Bohdan Khmelnytsky and "For Courage," and three more orders were given to wounded fighters.

In particular, the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky of the First Degree was awarded to Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavsky. In September, he became the commander of the operational-strategic group of troops "Kherson," and we see the results.

The title of Hero of Ukraine was bestowed upon scout Sergeant Andriy Orlov. Back in September, he demonstrated extraordinary bravery and effectiveness in battles on Kherson territory. He was wounded, recovered, returned to the front line. On November 10, as part of a reconnaissance group, he participated in the liberation of Snihurivka. It was he who raised the Ukrainian flag over the building of the district administration.

Of course, there will be more awards and thanks. All our soldiers who are returning freedom to Ukrainians and Ukrainian land deserve maximum gratitude. This is happening. This will continue.

Today I held several meetings — both in Kherson and in Mykolaiv. We will do everything to restore normal living conditions for our people.

It's obvious to everyone what Ukraine is, what the presence of our flag means. When there is a Ukrainian flag, there is civilization, freedom. There is social security. There is infrastructure. There is safety. There is someone who cares about people. All that disappears and gets destroyed when an occupier comes.

This is what the Russian flag means — total devastation. No electricity, no communication, no internet, no TV. The occupiers destroyed everything themselves – deliberately. This is their special operation. Before winter, Russian occupiers ruined absolutely all critical infrastructure for people. Absolutely all important objects in the city and region were sabotaged.

It's happiness for everyone when Russia can be expelled. Happiness that will come to those of our cities and communities that have been deprived of normal life since February 24, and even back in 2014. We will return everything. Return normal life. And we know that peace is getting closer for Ukraine. For all of our country.

In just a few hours, I will speak about this at my address to the participants of the... G19 summit in Indonesia. This is an alliance of very powerful countries. Today, even before the summit, important statements have already been made.

It's especially significant that the United States and China together emphasized the impermissibility of any threats to use nuclear weapons. Everyone understands who these words are addressed to.

We also have today decisions from our partners, which strengthen Ukraine's positions. Thank you Canada for a new package of military support for our country worth half a billion dollars. And also for new sanctions against Russian accomplices of tyranny — against the nuts and bolts of this system.

Thank you to the United States for new sanction steps. Today, sanctions were imposed on more than 40 legal and natural persons who help Russia wage war. Absolutely everyone who works in any way for the Russian army or defense sector must receive full personal isolation from the entire world. And then there will be punishment for complicity in terrorism.

On the UN square, our diplomats worked very long with partners to agree and adopt two very important resolutions. The first one was supported today — about creating an international compensation mechanism that would allow to compensate all losses inflicted by Russia's war, funded from Russian assets themselves. Reparations that Russia will have to pay for the damage done — this is now part of the international legal reality.

The second resolution — for establishing a special tribunal on the crime of aggression by Russia against Ukraine — we are still negotiating with our partners. We will do everything to make both work.

Today, in coordination with UN Secretary-General António Guterres and Advisor Andriy Yermak, a meeting of the Coordination Council of Ukraine on Child Protection and Security took place. I thank Mr. Guterres for this.

We discussed how to stop the deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia and return home all those who were forcibly taken away. At least 11,000 children are known by name — we know them individually. But these are only those whose cases we know about. In fact, more have been deported.

Also in the meeting participated representatives of leading countries whom we urge to help with implementing this task. To return all the deported ones, we will really need the strength of the entire world.

I believe that we can ensure this!

Thank you everyone who is helping Ukraine!

Thank you each and every one who fights and works for our country!

Eternal glory to all those who gave their lives for Ukraine and its people!

Glory to Ukraine!»
