Note to attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on October 27, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion into our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred and forty-sixth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation against the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

The enemy is trying to hold temporarily occupied territories, concentrating efforts on restraining the actions of Defense Forces on certain fronts, while not ceasing offensive operations in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions.

During the day, units of the Defense Forces repelled attacks by occupiers in the areas of Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Bakhmut, Ivanograd, Siversk, Mayorsk, Krasnogorivka, Marinka in Donetsk Oblast.

The enemy is shelling our troops' positions along the line of contact, conducting fortification work on certain fronts, particularly on the left bank of the Dnieper River, actively carrying out aerial reconnaissance.

Violating international humanitarian law, laws and customs of war, Russian occupiers continue to destroy critical infrastructure and civilian housing.

During the day, the enemy carried out 18 air strikes and four missile attacks, as well as conducted 56 shelling operations with multiple rocket launchers.

The cities of Kupiansk, Druzhkivka, and Zaporizhzhia were hit by enemy strikes.

On the Volynian and Polesian fronts, there have been no significant changes. The Republic of Belarus continues to support Russia's military aggression against Ukraine, providing its territory, airspace, and infrastructure. There remains a threat of missile and air strikes, including the use of attack drones.

On other fronts, the enemy carried out shelling:

on the Slobozhansky front — from Russian territory using mortars, artillery and rocket systems in the areas of Chugunivka, Strelcha, Dvorichna, Kamianka, Krasne, and Staritsa;

on the Kupiansky front — from tanks, mortars, artillery and rocket systems in the areas of Berestove, Kyslivka, Kotliarivka, and Figolivka;

on the Lyman front — from tanks, mortars, artillery and rocket systems in the areas of Grekivka, Druzhelubivka, Makieyivka, Terne, Torske, Yamopolivka, Spirene, Nevsko, Verkhnyokamianske, and Zarichne;

on the Bakhmut front — from tanks and rocket systems in the areas of Andriyivka, Bakhmut, Bakhmutse, Siversk, Mayorsk, New York, Yakovlivka, Zelenopillya, and Ozaryanivka;

on the Avdiivka front, the enemy carried out artillery strikes in the areas of Marinka, Vodyane, Novomykhailivka, Pervomaisk, Avdiivka, Krasnogorivka, Oleksandriopil and Novokalynove.

On the Novoazovskiy and Zaporizhzhian fronts, enemy artillery strikes were carried out in the areas of Orikhyv, Vremyivka, Dorozhnyanka, Maliynykva, Nova Ukrayinka, Hulyaypole, Zaliznychne, Novopil, Nesukhne, Olhivske and Bihor’ya.

On the Southern Bug front, areas of 20 populated places near the line of contact suffered artillery strikes. Nikopol was hit by enemy rocket artillery fire.

Russian military personnel continue to arrive in temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, mobilized weeks ago. In this manpower composition, there is a lack of motivation and desire to participate in combat actions on Ukrainian territory; individual cases of desertion are being recorded.

The enemy continues to work on replenishing losses. According to available information, representatives of private military companies are recruiting prisoners from correctional facilities in the city of Ulyanovsk. Most individuals of this category who agree to fight on Ukrainian territory have been convicted for murder, rape and drug trafficking.

The enemy continues to suffer losses. On October 25 of the current year, it was confirmed that an area with concentrated weapons and military equipment, ammunition depots of the enemy were hit in the vicinity of Berislav, Kherson Oblast. Personnel losses are being clarified.

During October 24-25, nearly 100 injured Russian servicemen were brought to a municipal hospital in Golubivka, Luhansk Oblast. Several surgical brigades arrived from Lugansk and Kadiyivka to provide assistance.

The aviation of the Defense Forces carried out five strikes over the past day. It was confirmed that an area with concentrated manpower, weapons, and military equipment, three strongholds, and a surface-to-air missile system were hit. On the previous day, air defense units shot down one enemy Ka-52 helicopter, one Kh-59 missile, and 17 attack drones.

Rocket troops and artillery forces struck four command points, eight areas with concentrated manpower, weapons, and military equipment, three ammunition depots, and six other important military objects of the enemy during the day.
