Today in Bucharest, the draw ceremony for the final stage of the 2023 European Championship among youth teams took place. As a result, 16 national teams were divided into four groups. The team coached by Ruslan Rotan was drawn into Group B along with Romania, Spain, and Croatia.

The head coach of the Croatian U-21 team, Igor Bishchan, shared his thoughts on the draw results.

"We can be satisfied with the draw. We got Romania, Ukraine, and Spain. Of course, Spain stands out and is the favorite in the group, while Romania and Ukraine are definitely not stronger than us. Although playing against Romania will be very difficult because the home team always has great support from the crowd.

Still, the draw results have strengthened our optimism about advancing to the quarter-finals. There is still plenty of time for preparation for Euro-2023. The main thing is to get the team ready in the best form possible. Then we will be competitive. Overall, we believe in our boys and believe that we can come out of the group," — said Igor Bishchan.
