"We prepared as if it were the last match. Because in Jihlava, we lost — 2:3, and the Slovaks really got under our skin. I understand them, they won the first game and didn't play themselves well in the second one. They didn't fight like that. We took advantage of this because we had a fighting spirit, and everyone wanted to win.

In the first half, we prepared our attacks well but were missing some finishing touches. Before the second half, Ruslan Rotan already told us to play calmly, as there are still 45 minutes ahead of us, and we took advantage of this to score.

My hat-trick? Honestly, I can't say. This is a national team, here the mood is good, and you always want to score for your country because it's the strongest one.
