Yesterday, the blue-and-yellow team arrived in Glasgow, where they conducted their first training session. The squad was joined by foreign-based players, including Roman Yaremchuk. The forward of Ukraine's national team talked about his condition and recent transfer to «Brugge».

"I feel good, I'm happy to see the guys, my mood is great. It's always pleasant to return to the national team, especially at this time, so I am glad to be here."

It's difficult to fly for a long time, there will only be one training session on the day before the match. But conditions are the same for everyone, so we'll have to deal with the situation as it is. Positive emotions are needed for Ukrainians, and victory is all that matters.

All the guys have been playing together for a long time, so there won't be any difficulties adapting. So we need to prepare well and bring three points for Ukraine.

The previous winning match against Scotland? Of course, it's important to remember that, but you can never rely on the past helping you. It's history, of course a pleasant one, but you don't build the future on the past. So we need to prepare for upcoming matches with maximum effort. Only then will results come.

As I always say, it doesn't matter who you play against — before the match, it's always 50-50. It doesn't matter if you're a favorite or an underdog. Scotland is a very strong team, it will be difficult because a full stadium will come to support their team.

We need to cheer people up with victories, good games, beautiful goals. To please our warriors who are giving their lives for us. So there can't be any excuses. When you arrive at the national team, it doesn't matter how long you've been playing — you have to come out and give everything.

The situation on the front? I live with news, always read, just proud that I am a Ukrainian. Proud of our strong people who are developing together, we have a strong president, a strong army. Just pride in the fact that we don't just talk but also move forward. I hope this is only the beginning.

Regarding my transfer to «Brugge», I chose a team that would be right for me in my career. Time will show if this step was correct or not. We'll see. I'm just happy with what's most important.

Eduard Sobolev? Very happy to be in the same club with him. I know that Eduard has a serious problem, he never shirks or does anything else. I saw how he was going through it, this is really an important procedure for him," said Yaremchuk.

Recall that the League of Nations match between Scotland and Ukraine will take place on September 21 in Glasgow at «Hampden Park» (kick-off — 9.45 PM).
