Note to attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on May 28, 2022, regarding the Russian invasion into our country.

The ninety-fourth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people against the Russian military invasion has begun.

On the Volyn and Polesie Directions, units of the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus continue to carry out tasks for strengthening the protection of the Belarusian-Ukrainian border. The mentioned group is reinforced by maneuver groups of radio-electronic warfare operating along the state border of Ukraine. Preparations are continuing for officers in reserve for needs related to the staffing of units of air and missile defense forces and anti-aircraft defense troops at educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus.

A division of OTRK «Iskander-M» has been moved to the area of ​​the town of Luninetz in the Brest region. The threat remains for strikes against infrastructure objects and units of defensive forces from the territory of the Republic of Belarus.

On the Northern Direction, the enemy is conducting activities aimed at strengthening the cover of the Ukrainian-Russian border area in the Bryansk and Kursk regions. Significant changes in the activity of enemy units have not been noted.

On the Slobozhanskyi Direction, the enemy shelled our troops' units to prevent their further advance towards the state border of Ukraine north and northeast of the city of Kharkiv. It is using measures aimed at logistical support and replenishment of losses.

On the Kharkiv Direction, the enemy did not conduct active offensive operations. Shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of the towns of Terneva, Prudyanka, Russian Tishki, Kutzovka, Varvarivka, Pytryvka, Mykhailivka, Korobochkino and others. Conducted remote mine-laying in likely directions of defensive forces' actions.

On the Slovyanskyi Direction, the enemy did not conduct active combat operations, but intensified reconnaissance efforts. Mainly focused on holding occupied positions, replenishing losses and supplies, as well as creating conditions for resuming the offensive.

The enemy carried out artillery shelling of civilian infrastructure in the areas of the towns of Studenok, Sviatohirsk, Bogorodichne, Karnaukhivka and Vyrnopillya. With support from army aviation, continued to deliver air strikes in the area of ​​the town of Dolhynke.

With artillery support attempted to launch offensive operations near the village of Pasyka but was unsuccessful and withdrew.

On the Donetsk Direction, the enemy is conducting active offensive operations. Continues fire strikes against our units along the line of contact, delivers rocket attacks. Increased intensity of actions by operational-tactical and army aviation.

On the Lyman Direction, the enemy continued shelling with mortars and multiple launch rocket systems in the areas of the villages of Ozerne and Dybrova. Near the latter, delivered air strikes. Attempts to consolidate near the town of Lyman.

On the Severodonetsk Direction, under artillery support, the enemy launched assault operations in the areas of the towns of Severodonetsk, Oskolonyvka and Toskivka but was unsuccessful, suffered losses, and withdrew to previously occupied positions.

The enemy is attempting to achieve success on the Bakhmut Direction, to get behind our troops and disrupt supply routes. With mortar and artillery support conducted offensive and assault operations in the areas of the villages of Nagirne, Vasilivka, Komishuvaha and Vyrhodenia. Was unsuccessful and withdrew.

On the Avdiivskyi Direction, the enemy used artillery against civilian infrastructure in the areas of the towns of Novobakhmutivka, Novoselivka Second, Vesele, Avdiivka, Pisky and Krasnogorivka. Delivered air strikes on civilian infrastructure in the areas of Yakovlivka, Avdiivka, Veselye and Kamianka.

On the Kurakhivskyi Direction, the enemy did not conduct active offensive operations but deployed artillery forces at firing positions, shelled defensive force positions and civilian infrastructure near Mariinka, Myslivske and Pavlivka.

On the Novopavlovsk and Zaporizhzhia Directions, the enemy shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of the towns of Vremyvka, Poltavka, Chervone, Hulyaypole, Orikhyv, Kamianske and others. Enemy army aviation operated near Olhivske.

As a result of actions by Ukrainian defensive forces, the enemy suffered significant losses and withdrew from the areas of the towns of Novopil and Novodarivka.

On the South Buzhskyi Direction, occupiers are concentrating main efforts on holding occupied lines and fortifying positions of the third line of defense. As a result of offensive operations by our troops' units, the enemy suffered losses and took up defensive positions on unfavorable lines.

Combat actions continue. The aggressor shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of the towns of Osokoryvka, Novovorontsovka, Blagodatne, Zoria and Tavriyske. The enemy continues to strengthen its anti-aircraft defense system on the Kryvorizhskyi Direction. To replenish losses, it is providing units with tanks of type T-62 taken from storage.

In the territory of the Russian Federation, covert mobilization measures are ongoing. The enemy continues to remove outdated weapons and military equipment from centers for mobilization deployment from storage. In the Voronezh region, reservists' preparations are underway.

Over the past day on the Donetsk and Luhansk Directions, eight enemy attacks were repelled, five tanks, ten units of armored combat vehicles, and four enemy vehicles were destroyed. Anti-aircraft defense units shot down a «Orlan-10» tactical drone.

As a result of the actions of Air Force aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a battalion tactical group of the enemy with equipment and manpower was destroyed. In Kharkiv region, servicemen of airborne assault troops shot down a combat helicopter Ka-52.
