Note for your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on May 11, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

The seventy-seventh day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people against the Russian military aggression has begun.

The enemy continues to wage a full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine.

The adversary does not cease offensive actions in the Eastern Operational Zone with the aim of establishing complete control over the territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kherson regions, as well as maintaining a land corridor between these territories and occupied Crimea.

The highest activity of the occupiers is observed on the Slovozhensky and Donetsk directions.

On the Volynsky, Polesky, and Northern Directions, the situation remains unchanged.

On the Slovozhensky Direction, the enemy is operating a grouping consisting of separate units of the 6th Combined Arms Army of the Western Military District, the 41st Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District, coastal troops of the Baltic and Northern Fleets. The occupiers continue to concentrate their main efforts on preventing further advancement of our forces towards Ukraine's state border, conducting reconnaissance of Defense Forces units north and northeast of the city of Kharkiv.

On the Izium Direction, a grouping consisting of separate units of the 1st Tank Army and the 20th Combined Arms Army of the Western Military District, the 29th, 35th, and 36th Combined Arms Armies and the 68th Army Corps of the Eastern Military District, as well as airborne troops, are concentrating their main efforts on delivering fire strikes to our units in a designated area.

On the Donetsk Direction, enemy groupings are concentrating their main efforts on continuing offensive actions aimed at taking full control of the city of Rubizhne and capturing populated areas of Liman and Severodonetsk.

Offensive actions continue on the Limansk, Severodonesk, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Kurakhiv Directions with support from artillery units.

In Mariupol city, the enemy is blocking our units in the area of the «Azovstal» plant. With artillery and tank fire support, it conducts offensive actions. It carries out rocket-bombardment strikes.

On the Southern Bug and Tavriysky Directions, enemy units are attempting to improve their tactical position.

On the Mykolaiv Direction, the enemy continues to shell positions of defenders and defenderesses of Ukraine.

To suppress communication channels, the adversary is using electronic warfare complexes.

On the Kryvyi Rih Direction, the enemy carried out shelling of our units with artillery.

With the aim of consolidating on captured territory, the adversary is conducting engineering works and creating new positions in the areas of populated places Bruskynske and Velyka Oleksandrivka.

On the Tavriysky Direction, the enemy conducts demonstrative actions aimed at restraining Defense Forces units, improving their engineering equipment, replenishing supplies.

On the Bessarabian Direction, the situation in the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova remains tense.

Units of the operational group of Russian forces continue to remain on full combat readiness «Full».

The adversary continues to destroy Ukraine's civilian infrastructure through missile-bombardment strikes and artillery shelling of populated areas and infrastructure objects.

Continuous shelling by Russian forces does not allow for full evacuation of civilians and injured individuals from the zone of combat actions.

Over the previous day, units of anti-aircraft defense of air forces and ground troops shot down four UAVs of the «Orlan-10» type. In addition, one unit of airborne assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed one Mi-24 helicopter.

Air force aviation on designated directions continued to deliver fire strikes against the enemy from the air and support combat actions of our units.

On the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, defenders and defenderesses of Ukraine repelled twelve enemy attacks over the past day, destroyed twelve tanks, four artillery systems, nineteen armored vehicles, seven cars, and two pieces of special engineering equipment of the adversary.
