Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on April 25, 2022, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

The sixty-first day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people against the Russian military invasion has begun.

The enemy continues to conduct a full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine.

The adversary is conducting offensive operations in the Eastern Operational Zone with the aim of destroying the units of the United Forces, establishing complete control over the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and securing a land route between these territories and the occupied Crimea.

On the Volynian, Polesian, and Northern Directions the enemy did not conduct active operations. No significant changes in the situation or activities of units providing security for the Ukrainian-Belarusian and Ukrainian-Russian sections of Ukraine's state border have been observed.

On the Slobozhansky Direction Russian occupiers continue to shell with artillery and multiple rocket launchers the populated areas of Kharkiv, Karasivka, Prudyanka, and Korobochkino.

Along the Izium-Barvinove and Izium-Sloviansk axes, the enemy attempted to conduct storming operations but was unsuccessful. They carried out shelling in the areas of the populated places of Velyka Komishuvaha, Virnopillya, and Nova Dmitrivka.

On the Donetsk and Tavriysky Directions the adversary conducted artillery shelling of positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In Mariupol city, the enemy carried out rocket-bombardment strikes on our troops' positions in the territory of the «Azovstal» plant. They are conducting storming operations in the populated place of Popasna.

On the Southern Buzhsky Direction the enemy shelled our troops' positions in the areas of the populated places of Knyazivka and Mykolaivka.

The forces defending Ukraine are inflicting significant losses on the adversary. Only in the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions over the past day, seven enemy attacks were repelled, thirteen tanks, three artillery systems, seventeen units of armored vehicles, four combat armored vehicles, and eighteen units of automotive equipment and four fuel tankers were destroyed. Anti-aircraft defense units in the specified area shot down three unmanned aerial vehicles of the «Orlan-10» type.
