Survey results among people with disabilities

In January to April 2021, in cooperation with the Centre for Access to Football in Europe (CAFE) and with methodological support from the Coalition for the Rights of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities, a nationwide survey was conducted among caregivers of people with disabilities.

The purpose of the survey was to better understand the problems and barriers faced by caregivers of people with disabilities when attending football matches in Ukraine.

The CAFE survey among caregivers of people with disabilities in Ukraine showed that there is a significant number of people with disabilities across the country who attend live football matches, though not necessarily on a regular basis.

This report, prepared by the Centre for Access to Football in Europe (CAFE), will help clubs obtain:

— an overview of the conditions and prospects for people with disabilities attending football matches in Ukraine;

— a better understanding of the obstacles that caregivers of people with disabilities across the country face when attending live football matches;

— recommendations on how to improve accessibility and inclusion.
