Webinar "Scouting in Football" from the Center for Football Education and Leadership

Considering the demand for this direction, the CFCO is launching a closed training program in scouting.

Webinar "Scouting in Football" from the Center for Football Education and Leadership

The Football Education and Leadership Center (CFEL) of the UAF held an open webinar on the topic "Scouting in football." A total of 746 people registered for the event. Participants showed the most interest in the block "How to start a scouting career: steps, literature, educational programs, speaker experience." This was a practical review of the process of entering the profession of a scout.

Conclusion about the format

Based on the webinar results, the CFEL team determined the optimal model for conducting such events: participants receive theoretical parts in advance for independent study, while the actual webinar focuses on speaker experience and audience questions. This approach will be taken into account during the preparation of future open events by the CFEL.

Participant feedback

Listeners noted the volume of information as an advantage—the content was professional and relevant. The average rating given by listeners was 4.15 out of a five-point scale.

The next step – launch of the closed program

After the webinar, many participants expressed a desire to start training under a special program. Therefore, CFEL opened a registration form for the closed scouting program—this will allow determining the actual number of applications.

Webinar "Psychology of Winning"

Earlier, the CFEL held a webinar on sports psychology as part of its management education cycle titled "Psychology of Winning." The closed training program in sports psychology is also currently at the final stage of preparation.
