On the stands at the football match between Poland and Ukraine in Wrocław, our national team had the honor of welcoming special guests. Thanks to the Foundation of the Ukrainian Football Association (UFA), our team was supported by soldiers from the 8th Corps of Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who daily defend our independence on the hottest fronts.

Let us introduce you to our titans.

Andriy Kostyuk, staff sergeant of the unmanned systems detachment of the 95th Separate Airborne Brigade, 8th Corps of Air Assault Forces.

In civilian life, Andriy worked as a system administrator for server equipment and network support at the company "Kyivstar." Andriy daily proves that modern warfare is a battle of technology and intellect. He coordinates the work of subunits of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), administers the Delta system, and ensures immediate interaction between crews.

Yevheniy Koretskyi, senior sergeant of the 46th Separate Airborne Brigade, 8th Corps of Air Assault Forces.

Yevheniy has come a long way from being a combat medic during the heavy assaults on Kherson to becoming the head sergeant of an assault UAV platoon. Yevheniy is a true leader who not only skillfully controls reconnaissance drones and heavy "bombers," but also trains new pilots. Before joining the Armed Forces, he worked as a football coach at the DUSSH Desna.

For each player, the coaching staff, and the entire team of UFA, the presence of such people on the stands is the greatest motivation.

We play for you and thanks to you!
