On August 7, a meeting of department heads responsible for children's and youth football from regional associations took place at the House of Football. Participants summed up the season 2025/2026 in regional competitions.

Most of the meeting was held in an open discussion format: representatives of associations presented their achievements, talked about the state of children's and youth competitions in their regions, and exchanged experiences.

In addition, reforms in U-13 competitions were discussed with representatives of the regions, which may be implemented in the future.

The meeting was held before the approval of the Typical Regulations for children's and youth competitions — so proposals from regions can still be considered in the document. The revision of the regulations became a separate agenda item.

The head of the Women's and Girls' Football Committee at the Ukrainian Association of Football (UAF), Anastasiia Klipchankova, presented a report on the state and development of women's and girls' football in Ukraine. Representatives of the regions were also informed about the procedure for registering their own players in the UAF information-analytical system.

Such meetings have been taking place for the second time. They give representatives of regional associations the opportunity to directly communicate with UAF and among themselves, using colleagues' experience to develop children's and youth football in their regions.
