During the first stage of the project, a rest and recovery program was organized for nearly a thousand children from Ukraine's frontline regions and the children of our defenders. Participants stayed in safe and modern recreational locations in Zakarpattia, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Chernivtsi oblasts, which provide conditions for quality health improvement and development.

The program included physical and psychological recovery, social skills development, acquaintance with Ukraine's historical and cultural heritage, as well as sports and team activities organized by the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) and its partner for football training in "Carpathian Change" camps — FC Metalist 1925. Special attention was given to forming new social connections among children from different regions and creating a supportive environment.

The second national project "Carpathian Change" will begin shortly.
