The UAF "Football in Schools" project is one of the mass football initiatives aimed at introducing children to the basics of football. The training sessions are conducted by physical education teachers and football mentors who undergo a free course for qualification enhancement. The Ukrainian Football Association also provides sections with balls and necessary equipment.

The Zaporizhzhia Regional Football Association is actively working within this project by establishing its own "School Football Sections."

Thanks to dedicated and involved educators in Zaporizhzhia, school football is thriving: children regularly train, and city school competitions are being revived, including the "School Ball" tournament.

The event was attended by the acting director of the education and science department of the Zaporizhzhia City Council Vitaliy Lysenko, head of ZOAF Mykola Beilyi, executive director of ZOAF Maxim Lupashko, and representatives of the football community. They greeted the teachers and thanked them for their persistent work with children and the development of sports in Zaporizhzhia.
