The seminar participants discussed how parents, coaches, and managers together create an environment in which a young football player grows. The development of a child is a team effort. And, as with any team game, the result depends not only on the player on the field but also on the people who shape the environment around them. 

The meeting participants discussed two directions that are essential for building a quality environment for the growth of a young football player:

• "Parents are partners in development." The role of the family in a child's sports and personal growth is often undervalued. Yet it is parents who set basic values, attitudes towards work, defeats, and victories. Coaches work with children for a few hours per week — parents are there every day. When these two sides work together, the child receives an integrated environment where they can realize their potential.

• "Managers are the foundation of a child's development environment." Without coordinated work by managers and organizers, it is impossible to create conditions in which children, coaches, and parents interact productively. Management in youth football is the foundation on which everything else rests.

The seminar is only half of the Talentocos program

Similar seminars are an integral part of the two-day Talentocos event. The format is designed to combine theory and practice, adults and children, discussion and action:

• Day one — a seminar for parents, coaches, and managers discussing approaches to child development.
• Day two — a festival where children play, compete, and enjoy football in an atmosphere of support.

This synergy is not accidental. What adults agree on at the seminar works out in practice the next day — in how parents react to their children's play, how coaches communicate, and how the environment is organized. The child sees football not as an isolated discipline but as a space where all adults are playing with them in one game.

In children's sports, it is easy to focus on the result — goals scored, matches won, first places. But true development happens when there are adults around who see in a child not a future star but a growing person. Parents, coaches, managers — each has their role, and every one of these roles is important.
