The founding of the Professional Football League marked a new stage in the development of Ukraine's championship. In 1996, the PFL became the first organization in Ukraine to take on the development of professional football competitions.

Throughout its existence, the leadership and staff of the PFL have demonstrated their ability to adapt to changes and demands. In particular, the merger of clubs from the first and second leagues was an example of mutually beneficial cooperation for other entities in Ukrainian football.

The Football Association of Ukraine sees the PFL as a reliable partner for further improving the professional football system in our country.

The PFL today is a solid foundation for professional football. These tournaments are always unpredictable and intriguing.
