On June 18 at the Bannikov NTK, the Open Mini-Football Tournament "Pechersk-2026" took place.

For the sixth consecutive year, the Pecherska District State Administration in Kyiv has jointly with the Ukrainian Football Association organized a sports event that has become a good tradition and a symbol of unity among military personnel, veterans, representatives of state institutions, and organizations.

This year's tournament brought together 11 teams that serve the country daily, defend Ukraine, ensure citizens' security, and work for the development of the nation. On the football field, they met not just as rivals but as like-minded individuals united by honor, responsibility, mutual respect, and a desire to be first.

Tournament participants:

— "Phoenix-72" (military unit A2167 of the Armed Forces of Ukraine);

— "Hurricane" (military unit A1476 of the Armed Forces of Ukraine);

— "Communicator" (military unit 3077 of the National Guard of Ukraine);

— Veterans of Special Operations Units Association;

— JSC "Kyivvodokanal";

— State Protection Service of Ukraine;

— Special Purpose Center "Omega" of the National Guard of Ukraine;

— National Bank of Ukraine;

— Ivan Bohun Military School in Kyiv;

— military unit 2260 of the National Guard of Ukraine;

— Military Institute of Telecommunications and Informationization named after Heroes of Kalush.

With welcoming words to the participants, Vladyslav Zvolinsky, deputy head of the Pecherska District State Administration in Kyiv, greeted the athletes at the start of the tournament, thanked each team for their participation, and presented awards on behalf of the head of the Pecherska District State Administration.

Each game was a true test of character. Uncompromising battles for every ball, swift attacks, spectacular saves by goalkeepers, bright combinations, and tension until the final whistle gave participants and spectators unforgettable emotions. The tournament once again proved that football is not just about the scoreboard but also about unity, mutual support, and team spirit.

Based on the results of the competition, the winner was the "Omega" Special Purpose Center of the National Guard of Ukraine, silver went to military unit 2260 of the National Guard of Ukraine, and bronze to the "Hurricane" team (military unit A1476 of the Armed Forces of Ukraine).

Individual awards:

Best goalkeeper — Vladyslav Samiylenko (Special Purpose Center "Omega" of the National Guard of Ukraine).

Best defender — Igor Lokhonya ("Hurricane", military unit A1476 of the Armed Forces of Ukraine).

Best forward — Oleksiy Dudnik (Veterans of Special Operations Units Association).

Best player — Yevgen Zharko (military unit 2260 of the National Guard of Ukraine).
