Head coach of the Ukraine U-17 team Oleksandr Sytnyk visited the final of the Super Cup NLM in the U-17 category, where AF "Ruh" Lviv defeated Dynamo Kyiv with a score of 3:0. Afterward, he commented on the season in the National League of the Future – the first after a major reform.

- What can you say about the reform of the National League of the Future based on this season's results?

- I believe that the reform was successful. Our championship has become more competitive compared to previous years. Of course, there are some questions, but I think that during the break now we will improve certain aspects of the championship. What I see with the boys – they like it. There is competition in matches, no easy games. So I believe that in such an environment, the boys will only develop further.

- What can you say about the final of the Super Cup NLM in the U--17 category?

It was a decent match. Of course, the weather played a role. It was hot, and the pace dropped slightly. But overall, there was intrigue until the end. There were moments at the end when Dynamo could have found an opportunity to score and maybe turned the game around. So I think that the match was interesting and competitive. Congratulations to the winners, "Ruh," on their victory. I don't think Dynamo should be too upset. I tell the boys that at this age, the main thing is not the result but their attitude towards football. To understand what they need to work on and improve every day.

- As the coach of the Ukraine U-17 team, what can you highlight in the play of the players this season? What do you pay attention to?

- If we compare with international matches... Look, this season for boys of this age group, we had friendlies against very good opponents. Spaniards, Italians, Croats. Many national teams could be mentioned. We called up a lot of people and gave them chances to see how these teams are at their level and what they need to do to reach that level. I would like the boys to be more courageous on the field, in decision-making with or without the ball. In those moments we lag behind.

Overall, I believe that the reform in the NLM championship has added competition and pressure on the boys. In such an environment, they will develop faster, which is beneficial for the Ukraine national team.
