The west gathered 65 participants—coaches from various football clubs and DYSH in the city and region. The seminar is part of a nationwide series conducted by UAF in each region within cooperation with Manchester City, officially registered in the spring of 2024. The goal is to introduce coaches to the principles of one of the strongest and most innovative football academies in the world.

The knowledge presented at the seminar is the result of a two-month internship for 20 Ukrainian coaches directly on the premises of an English club, where they learned its philosophy and training methods. The acquired experience these experts now share with their colleagues in regions.

The program included both theoretical and practical parts. At the core of the methodology is the priority of player development over results: the coach's task is to create conditions under which a child can grow and reach high professional standards. Participants also deepened their understanding of organizing the training process and psychological aspects of communicating with young footballers. In the practical part, coaches practiced approaches on the field, while in an open dialogue format, they discussed current challenges and prospects for the development of youth football in Ukraine.
