Euro 2027 (U-19): Ukraine's youth national team has learned their opponents in the first qualifying round

Today, the draw for the first round of the Euro-2027 qualification among under-19 teams took place at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, which included the Ukraine national team (currently it is the U-18 team, consisting of players born in 2008).

Tuesday at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, the draw for the first round of qualification for Euro-2027 among under-19 teams took place, with Ukraine's national team participating (currently it is U-18, players born in 2008).

Before the draw, Ukraine was placed in the third seeding pot of League A. By the luck of the draw, blue and yellow will play in Group A3 alongside the Czech Republic, Finland, and Estonia.

League A

Group A1: Belgium, Slovenia, Sweden, Cyprus.

Group A2: Italy, Ireland, Poland, Scotland. 

Group A3: Czech Republic, Finland, Ukraine, Estonia.

Group A4: Germany, Austria, Israel, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Group A5: England, Croatia, Spain, Bulgaria.

Group A6: Portugal, Serbia, Greece, Kazakhstan. 

Group A7: France, Switzerland, Hungary, Wales.

League B

Group B1: Denmark, Romania, Andorra, Liechtenstein.

Group B2: Turkey, Kosovo, Armenia, Gibraltar.

Group B3: Slovakia, Belarus, Latvia, San Marino

Group B4: Norway, Albania, Luxembourg, Malta

Group B5: Netherlands, Faroe Islands, North Macedonia, Moldova.

Group B6: Northern Ireland, Lithuania, Azerbaijan.

Group B7: Iceland, Montenegro, Georgia.

Qualification to the second round

After completing the first round, teams progress as follows:

  • teams that finish first, second and third in League A remain in League A for the second round;
  • teams that finish fourth in League A move to League B for the second round;
  • winners of groups in League B are promoted to League A for the second round;
  • teams that finish second, third and fourth in League B remain in League B for the second round.

Teams that played each other in the first round will not meet again in the second round.
