The 15th round of the Ukrainian Premier League season-2025/2026 has concluded, bringing a change in leadership. LNZ won at home against "Obolon," while "Shakhtar" dropped points in Kharkiv. Both teams finished the first round with the same number of points (32 each), but thanks to additional indicators (a victory in head-to-head matches), it is the Chernihiv club that has climbed to the top spot.

Zhytomyr "Polesye" lost to local "Rukh" in Lviv and now trails the leaders by five points. In the race for top scorers, three players—Yuri Klimchuk ("Kolos"), Pilyp Budkivskyi ("Zorya") and Prosper (LNZ)—each have seven goals.

Players called up by Serhiy Rebrov to play for Ukraine's under-21 team in matches against France (0:4) and Iceland (2:0) participated in the round: from "Dynamo"—Oleksandr Karavaev (assisted), Nazar Voloshyn, Mykola Shaparenko (substituted on 77th minute) and Taras Mikhalko (substituted on 88th minute); from "Shakhtar"—Dmytro Ryzhnik, Valeriy Bondar, Mykola Matviyenko and Oleksandr Ocheretnyk (replaced at half-time), from "Polesye"—Yevhenii Volynets, Bohdan Mikhaylichenko and Oleksiy Hutsulak.

The next, 16th round of the UPL will start on Friday, December 12 and last for three days.
