Today, November 6th, the Ukraine U-16 national team (players born in 2010) conducted their second friendly match against local counterparts during a training camp in Italy.

Compared to the game that took place two days ago (2:6), head coach of Ukraine Volodymyr Samborskyi made five changes in the starting lineup. Galdin took over in goal, Bemetyuk and Abramovich played defense, while Rybak and Serdyukovskiy were in midfield. Meanwhile, the Italian team's manager Manuel Pasquale completely renewed his team’s starting eleven.

In the first half of the match, blue-and-yellow dominated possession and created two goal-scoring opportunities with Dziurynets, who, as a reminder, assisted twice in the previous encounter. Initially, Oleg threatened the hosts' goal with a shot — defenders blocked it, but shortly after he dangerously crossed from a corner kick, only to be saved by the goalkeeper.

In the middle of the half, Italians capitalized on an out-of-bounds throw-in: our defenders’ failed attempt to clear the ball from their penalty area resulted in a goal for Salvae, a Juventus player. The blue-and-yellow team tried to quickly respond — after Rybak's shot, the crossbar saved them. Bodak and Serdyukovskiy also had good chances. However, while focusing on an attack, Ukraine let in a counter-attack after losing possession in midfield — Rastello, another Juventus player, scored from 15 meters into the far corner.

At the beginning of the second half, Rybak had a great chance to narrow the scoreline following Dziurynets' pass but missed the far post. Later, Bodak shot from the penalty area, but the ball hit the back of the net from outside. Fedushko's low shot was easily handled by the goalkeeper.

Near the end of the match, high pressing from Italians led to Ukraine losing possession in their own penalty area. Our goalkeeper held off the first attempt, defenders blocked the second one, but on the third try, opponents succeeded and secured a final score — 3:0.
