Since November 2, the Ukraine U-16 national team (players born in 2010) is holding a training camp in Italy. During this camp, the team will play two friendly matches against local peers.

The first match will take place today, November 4. Kick-off at 16:00 Kyiv time. Live stream — on the UAF YouTube channel.

"Compared to the September camp, we have nine new footballers in our lineup. The selection process continues. We closely monitor those players who are performing well at their clubs. Now, some of them have joined us from abroad, although not all; three or four players suffered injuries. We have a group of players who, if they do not lower the bar for themselves, will be the backbone of this team in the future, so we could not miss the opportunity to observe them against a strong opponent.

Italian youth teams play according to one system, aggressive and vertical football. However, we do not intend to adjust our tactics to fit the opponent. We have our own plans. We need to work on defense, tactics, positional attacks. Due to new players joining us, a lot of time needs to be spent on individual talks with the boys," — noted head coach Volodymyr Samorukov yesterday.

The second friendly is scheduled for November 6.
