Today, October 28 in Bucharest at the “Concordia Cajna” stadium, a friendly match between Romania and Ukraine national women's teams will take place (kickoff at 17:30 Kyiv time).

This is already the second October test for Vladimir Pyatenko's wards, who on the previous day won Slovakia in a friendly match with a score of 2:1.

The match between Romania and Ukraine will be broadcast live on the YouTube channel of the UAF.

We remind you that in the last League of Nations tournament, Ukraine played in League B, managing to secure promotion to League A at the end of the campaign. With four wins, one draw and one loss, blue-and-yellow scored 13 points, tying with the Czech Republic but having a better head-to-head record. The group also included Croatia and Albania.

After moving up to League A, Ukrainian women will play exclusively friendly matches this fall, while they will find out their World Cup qualifiers opponents after the draw on November 4. Qualification for the World Cup will start in February and continue until the end of 2026.
