We remind you that Yuri Klymenko's wards secured second place in group B at the group stage, defeating Italy (4:2) and losing to Spain (2:4). This result guaranteed our girls a spot in the semifinals of the tournament, where their opponent was Portugal's national team. 

The first period of today's match ended in a tie. Yuliia Kostyuk scored for us on the 10th minute, and shortly after, Marta Simoensh equalized for the Portuguese.

In the second quarter, our opponents took the lead. Inna scored for Portugal on the 18th minute. She also sealed the final score in the third period.

Thus, 1:3 — a loss for Ukraine's national team, and now they will compete for third place against Poland (match start at 1:45 PM), who lost to Spain in their semifinal — 0:2.
