UEFA Europa League 2025/2026. "Shakhtar" learned of its potential opponent in the second qualifying round

Today, on June 18 at the UEFA headquarters in the Swiss city of Nyon, the draw for the second qualifying round of the 2025/26 Europa League took place, which was attended by the current holder of the Ukrainian Cup — Donetsk's "Shakhtar".

Today, on June 18 at UEFA headquarters in the Swiss city of Nyon, the draw for the second qualifying round of the 2025/26 Europa League took place, with the current holder of the Ukrainian Cup — Donetsk's "Shakhtar" – participating.

According to the results of the draw, in case Shakhtar overcomes the first qualifying round, they will face Turkish "Besiktas."

The first match for "Shakhtar" will be played away on July 24. The return match will take place on July 31.

The champion of the Ukrainian Premier League («Dynamo») starts in the second qualifying round.

Draw — June 18, matches — July 22/23 and 29/30.

Europa League

The holder of the Ukrainian Cup («Shakhtar») starts in the first qualifying round.

Draw — June 17, matches — July 10 and 17.

Conference League

The second team in the Ukrainian Premier League («Olexandria») starts in the second qualifying round.

Draw — June 18, matches — July 24 and 31.

The fourth team in the Ukrainian Premier League («Polesia») starts in the second qualifying round.

Draw — June 18, matches — July 24 and 31.
