The next season of European cups, 2025/2026, is starting today, June 17th with the draw for the first qualifying rounds in the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League.

Here, the winner of the Ukrainian Cup Shakhtar will start their journey in the Europa League. Their first matches are scheduled for July 10th and 17th.

In total, four clubs will represent Ukraine in European competitions.

The Vbet League champion (Dynamo) has secured a spot in the second qualifying round of the Champions League. If they fail to advance from their starting round, our champion will move on to the third qualifying round of the Europa League.

One club will represent Ukraine in the Europa League – in the first qualifying round. This right was earned by the cup winner. In case of an initial failure in the Europa League qualifiers, they will enter the second qualifying round of the Conference League.

In the main draw of the Conference League, our country will have two delegates. The second team from the UPL (Oleksandria) and the fourth (Polesia) will start in the second qualifying round. Thus, for our clubs to enter the main grid of the CL, they need to overcome three opponents.

We add that in all three main rounds of European competitions, there will be 36 teams participating again.

Champions League

The UPL champion (Dynamo) starts in the second qualifying round.

Draw – June 18th, matches – July 22nd/23rd and July 29th/30th.

Europa League

The Ukrainian Cup winner (Shakhtar) starts in the first qualifying round.

Draw – June 17th, matches – July 10th and 17th.

Conference League

The second team from the UPL (Oleksandria) starts in the second qualifying round.

Draw – June 18th, matches – July 24th and 31st.

The fourth team from the UPL (Polesia) starts in the second qualifying round.
