The UAF and clubs of the UPL held a fruitful working meeting at the House of Football

Today, a working meeting between the leadership of the UAF and representatives of clubs from Ukraine's Premier League took place at the Kyiv Football House.

Representatives of 15 football clubs, the General Secretary of the UAF Igor Gryshchenko, the Technical Director of the UAF Igor Dedyshin, League leaders Yevgen Dykyi and Youth Football Department Head Bohdan Hordynyuk participated in the meeting. The meeting lasted over five hours and became a platform for discussing key strategic issues related to the development of Ukrainian football.

One of its main results was achieving a fundamental agreement regarding the format and television model for the 2025/2026 Ukrainian Cup. Club representatives presented numerous proposals, supported initiatives by the UAF, and agreed with the idea of uniting TV rights on the league's own channel platform TBC. Final decisions will be made by the cup management board and the Executive Committee of the UAF after further consultations.

Also discussed were the format of the Ukrainian Championship among professional men's and women's clubs, as well as youth first division U-19. The UAF presented a concept for creating an open National League U-19. An initiative to reform was agreed upon. Clubs and associations will move towards improving the existing system.

The UAF also acquainted clubs with key directions of its activities in the field of children's and youth football, including new tournaments, formats, training systems, methodology development, creation of a UAF Football Development Center, and many other projects by the department.

The project of a football education and leadership center was also presented, which envisages specialized training programs for clubs. It's about preparing not only coaches but also managers and other football professionals.

Another issue discussed was the arbitration system in Ukraine. Clubs proposed ideas regarding borrowing international experience and other innovations in this field. The UAF supported initiatives aimed at improving the arbitration system.

Also within the meeting, issues of club accreditation, football justice and other common areas of activity were discussed. The UAF confirmed its openness to cooperation with all football institutions for the implementation of constructive decisions and innovations.

On all discussed directions, parties will continue a constructive dialogue in accordance with agreements and initiatives.
