Today, May 7, the Ukrainian women's under-16 team (players born in 2009 or later) played their first match at the UEFA Development Tournament in Croatia. Their opponents were their Hungarian counterparts.

Today, on May 7, the Ukrainian women's national team WU-16 (players born in or after 2009) played their first match at the UEFA Development Tournament in Croatia. 

Their opponents were their Hungarian counterparts. Unfortunately, our team, leading in the score during regular time, lost on a penalty shootout — 4:5.

The blue-and-yellow team will play their next match at the tournament against Croatia on May 9 (kickoff at 12:00).

According to the regulations, each team will play three matches. A win earns three points, and a draw is decided by a penalty shootout; the winner of the shootout gets two points while the loser receives one point.
